If you really want to know what matters most to someone, listen to how they pray. When we listen in on the prayers of Jesus, we don’t just learn how to pray—we see His heart and His mission. And what’s most striking isn’t where or when He prayed, but that He prayed at all.

If the Son of God lived with that kind of dependence on prayer, it reminds us that prayer isn’t optional—it’s essential. And when we pay attention to what Jesus prayed for, it begins to reshape what we pray for too.
