Lead Pastor

Meet Steve Anderson!  Steve grew up in Minnetonka, loves the MN lakes, uses his hands to create things out of wood, dreams of a dust free wood shop, loves fishing, mountain biking and craves spending time with his family. He loves using things that are discarded and repurposing them to create something new.  Steve and his wife Daisy have two kids and love their community.  

Steve graduated from Bethel Seminary, St. Paul with an M.Div.  He is passionate about helping people live in the tension between life's bigger questions and faith.  He invites people to swim in the deep end of the pool and challenge their comforts.

Seth Lindberg

Worship Pastor

Meet Seth Lindberg!  Seth grew up in Illinois and has always had an ear and a heart for music.  He and his wife Sandy have two teenage kids that keep them busy and two dogs that the kids promised to care for. Some of Seth's favorite activities include mountain biking, drumming on his car's steering wheel and not finishing home improvement projects. 

Seth graduated from North Park Seminary with a Master's in Christian Formation and loves helping people move their faith from their head to their heart through music and community connections.

Mallory Thiessen

Admin - Ministry Assistant

Meet Mallory Thiessen! Mallory has been a part of Lakeside Covenant Church from the beginning and served on a variety of teams. She has a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Christian Studies, and loves creating order and solving problems. Mallory joined the team at Lakeside in 2025.

Beyond this, Mallory is a mom of two, loves board games, hiking with family, and all things knitting. She is married to Daniel and together they are raising two awesome little girls.

Our Leadership Team is responsible for building, maintaining and overseeing the spiritual welfare of the congregation, as well as directing and overseeing all ministries and business affairs of Lakeside. Alongside Pastor Steve Anderson, the Lakeside Leadership Team consists of Daniel Thiessen (Chair), Linda Solheid (Vice Chair), Katie Rosenow (Secretary), Connie Haarstad (Financial Officer), Rachel Friesen (Member at Large) and Ryan Heinsch (Member at Large).  Members are elected by Lakeside Partners during annual meetings.
