Marriage Retreat
Lakeside is excited to host a half-day Marriage Conference at The Blessing House in Victoria on Saturday, March 14th, from 9:00am–12:30pm. This encouraging and practical morning will be led by Dr. Steve Lutz and his wife, Michelle, who bring years of wisdom, experience, and grace-filled insight into marriage. Whether your marriage feels strong or in need of some intentional care, this conference is designed to strengthen connection, deepen understanding, and offer hope.

Congo Update - Beyond the 6K
Beyond the 6K: An Afternoon of Impact & Stories
Earlier this year, our pastor and his wife traveled to the Democratic Republic of Congo to see firsthand how Covenant Kids Congo, in partnership with World Vision, is bringing clean water, education, and lasting transformation to communities.
If you’ve participated in the 6K for Water, sponsored a child, or helped support this trip, we’d love to invite you to a special afternoon of stories and impact. Come hear what we experienced, see photos from the trip, and learn how your generosity is changing lives in powerful and tangible ways.
This gathering is open to all sponsors, donors, and friends who want to see the real impact happening beyond the 6K.

Brandon Lake Concert
Brandon Lake Concert – Ticket Registration
We’re excited to offer tickets for the upcoming Brandon Lake Concert! Tickets are $45 each and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is required at the time of registration to secure your spot.
Priority is given to Lakeside Student Ministry students and their families. If tickets remain after this group has registered, they will be made available to the broader congregation.
We will also likely carpool together from Lakeside, making it easy and fun to attend as a group!
This concert also makes a meaningful gift—parents or family members are welcome to purchase tickets on behalf of a student.
World Vision 6K - 2026
Change a Life This Spring
Around the world, millions of children still walk miles every day just to collect water—often water that isn’t safe to drink. But together, we can help change that story.
Join us for the Global 6K for Water and be part of a movement bringing life-changing clean water to children and families in communities around the world. Walk, run, or roll the 6K distance—the average distance many people must travel every day to collect water. Each participant receives a race bib with the name and photo of a child who will benefit from access to clean water.
Sunday March 22nd is also World Water Day, and there’s an exciting opportunity to make an even greater impact. Generous supporters of World Vision’s WASH programs have created a special matching challenge to maximize the impact of the Global 6K.
From 8 am CT on Friday, March 20, through 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 22, every dollar raised through Global 6K registrations and online donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar on Global 6K fundraising pages and team sites.
That means every Global 6K registration during this time will equip two people with clean water.

Prayer Gathering
As we conclude our 21 Days of Prayer sermon series, we invite you to stay after our worship service on February 8 for a special prayer gathering.
This will be a time to slow down, reflect on Scripture, and come together as a church family in unified prayer. Guided by God’s Word, we’ll pray over what He has been teaching us, lifting up our church, our community, and one another as we seek Him together.
Whether you’ve participated in every day of the series or are just stepping into this rhythm of prayer, you are welcome. Join us as we end these 21 days grounded in Scripture, expectant, and trusting God for what’s ahead.

Pickleball Party
Join us for a Pickleball Party on January 11 from 3:00–5:00 PM at the Chanhassen Recreation Center. This event is all about fast-paced rallies, friendly competition, and meaningful connection on and off the court.
Whether you love keeping score or simply enjoy staying active and meeting new people, this afternoon of pickleball is for you. Players of all skill levels are welcome, and there will be plenty of opportunities to jump in and play.

Sunday Funday
Stick around after service for Sunday Funday—a relaxed afternoon of food and fun for all ages! We’ll be serving Qdoba for lunch, followed by open gym time to play and burn off some energy. Prefer something low-key? Join us in the cafeteria for board games and conversation instead.
No pressure, just good food, good people, and a great way to spend Sunday together.
Volunteers Needed
We’d love a few extra hands to help with food setup and cleanup after lunch. If you’re willing to help, even for a short time, please let us know—we’d greatly appreciate it!
FalalaFlapjacks
After Christmas, we’re going to keep the joy (and the syrup) flowing at Lakeside! Join us for FalalaFlapjacks and enjoy fresh pancakes, egg bakes and tasty sides. The griddles will be hot, the smiles will be big and the carols will get you singing Falalala!
Bring your family, your friends, a flannel shirt, slippers and holiday cheer! We’ll hear a brief message from Pastor Steve, and sing some Christmas carols.

Christmas Eve Eve
We invite you to experience the story of Christmas in both fresh and familiar ways through Christmas songs, readings, story, and a relevant message. People of all ages will find meaningful ways to enter into our Christmas service. For younger families, we’ve reserved an area of the auditorium just for you—and we welcome the joyful wiggles of your kids.
As you prepare your heart for Christmas, we encourage you to consider this: Who in your life needs to hear the story of hope and God’s love for them this season? Take time to pray, reach out, and invite someone to join you at our Christmas Eve Eve service.
Lakeside’s Christmas Service will be hosted at CHANHASSEN HIGH SCHOOL this year due to an athletic event at Chaska High School.

Parent Night Out
Need a night out before the holiday rush? We’ve got you covered!
Lakeside Student Ministries is hosting a Parent Night Out on Saturday, December 7th from 4–7pm at the Chanhassen Rec Center — and it’s completely FREE!
Drop your kids off for an evening filled with crafts, games, a Christmas movie, and dinner provided for all children. Our student ministry students will be leading the fun, giving your family a safe and joy-filled experience.
While your kids enjoy their evening, we encourage parents to head out for a date night, run errands, or simply enjoy a quiet, kid-free evening during a busy season.
