Student Ministry

Real Relationship. Real Role Models. Real Life.

Upper Room

Upper Room is a monthly gathering for students committed to growing deeper in their faith through God’s Word.

Each month, we’ll meet in a home environment to:

  • Share a meal together

  • Engage in interactive teaching

  • Build community and encourage one another

This discipleship journey is built around three areas of growth:

  • UP – Know God more through studying the Bible

  • IN – Grow deeper in relationship with Jesus

  • OUT – Live out the way of life Jesus calls us to (Matthew 28:19–20)

This curriculum is designed as a 3-year discipleship journey, exploring key themes of the Old and New Testaments with the goal of making disciples who make disciples.

A one-year commitment is required to participate.

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 3:18

Student Ministry Gatherings

Students in grades 6–12 are invited each month to special gatherings and events.

Every month, we offer:

  • One experience designed for adventure, serving, or connection—perfect for inviting friends.

  • One gathering focused on faith and real-life challenges middle and high school students face daily.

Our goal is to equip students to follow Jesus authentically in their everyday lives.

Welcome to Student Ministry!

Lakeside Student Ministry is here to create space where real life, real people, and a real God intersect. Throughout the school year, we gather twice each month to help students build rhythms of community, form lasting friendships, and take next steps in their faith journey.

You Matter. You Belong.

At our gatherings, we want every student to experience and believe two essential truths for navigating life today—and the years ahead:
You Matter and You Belong.

You matter deeply to God, and you belong in a community that will encourage, challenge, and walk alongside you. Together, we share life, pursue Jesus, and grow as everyday disciples.
